We had the joy of celebrating Sophia's 1st birthday yesterday. Of course I didn't get anything posted yesterday but I guess we were busy and I don't get a lot of things done on time around here. Sophia seems to enjoy her new toys and I love all of her new clothes. Mom & dad were here to help celebrate and mom also helped finish the cake which was very yummy. Sophia licked up every morsel of her piece of cake and enjoyed a few more bites with grandpa today. It's hard to believe that a year has passed by so quickly. Remembering her all swaddled up wearing her newborn sized diaper does bring a tear to my eye, but everyday she fills our lives with such joy and so many new things that the tears don't last long.
